Hats, Scarves and Lapghan Donated to the Homeless

Drum roll please, got some goodies to share with you again.  A fun warm afghan/lapghan.  The center looks like bright sunshine to me with the blues and greens, oranges etc.  Lots of primary colors here and more!!
Guess who's been busy with her crochet hook?  Guess, lol.  Do you recognize the style?  Bet you do, this crocheted granny square afghan/lapghan comes from the smoking hot crochet hook that belongs to our friend Marsha M.  I love this color combination.  Looks so bright and cheery and sorta Christmasy.
AND for some more variety, our friend Marsha M has included hats and a scarf.  Love the variety of colors in the hats.  Warm heads are happy heads.

Oh, this purple one, what female wouldn't love this one!!  I'm trying hard to pick a favorite from this group and it's a real toss up....hum, maybe the purple, it looks so peaceful and restful.........then again the red and green.  Oh my, it's hard, but I think I'll go with the purple.  How bout you?  As always, I remind you to click to enlarge so you can see details of any of the pictures here on Bridge and Beyond.  It helps you truly admire the hard work that goes into our big hearted crafters donations.

AND........wow, look how our numbers toward our goal are improving.

Many many thanks Marsha, please please keep up the good work.

Crocheted Afghans and Lapghans such a Wonderful Donation

Gold and green crocheted stitches from our good friend and speedy crocheter Marsha M, make this lovely afghan/lapghan.  I need to ask Marsha if she's going for the worlds record of faster crocheter.
Then there's awesome blue one~!  WOW  Everyone likes blue.  This will work for men or woman.  Truly fantastic.
Doesn't this one look patriotic?  I am convinced now, this woman truly must not sleep, or eat!  She's making so many people happy with these warm, cheery afghans/lapghans.  Marsha, you're a marvel.

AND ...drum roll there's more.  I encourage you all to scroll back to yesterday to see 3 others she made.  Well....really scroll back 2 or 3 pages worth.  I know you'll be as impressed with the number of people she's warmed as I am.

Keep up the good work Marsha.  Many thanks.  I think the Blue one is my favorite in this group...how bout you?

Look how close we're getting with our goal for afghans for the year?

Donating Bright Cheer and Warm to Ohio's Homeless

Look!  More bright cheery afghans/lapghans from our friend Marsha M.  The woman who should be known as the woman with the smoking crochet hook!  Seriously, I don't know how fast she's able to crochet, or if she crochets in her sleep..............please scroll back and see how many afghans/lapghans she's crocheted and donated!!
Big granny squares is her style with every color imaginable.  All are interesting and eye catching.  And all will be loved by those who wrap up in them.
Please remember to click to enlarge pictures so you can see all the color she uses, because with a first glance you honestly don't see them all.  AND yes she knitted and crocheted hats, scarves, and infinity scarves as well.  Pretty exciting to see our numbers going down.

This bright orange, pink, red.......fire burst below is probably my favorite of this group.  LOVE it.  Do you have a favorite?  Have you scrolled back to see all the previous afghan/lapghans she's donated?  You might not be able to pick a favorite, lol

Many many thanks Marsha, we so appreciate all your efforts.

Thank you Mary D for Helping the Homeless

Mary D, our newest pair of helping hands has been very busy creating hats and scarves for the younger set.  The kids will be thrilled to get these soft scarves.  So happy to have you with us Mary, helping Ohio's Homeless in Need.  So many people without roofs over their heads,
or living day to day, hoping for nights in shelters here and there.  Children are still expected to go to school.  Has to be hard, not knowing where you'll be for the night or when you'll have a meal next.
One of the things Homeless Family's Foundation does is transport children to and from school, making sure they have a meal on return to the facility from school, and they provide homework assistance for the kids to help them through these difficult times, while they work with the adults to find lodging and jobs.

These hats and scarves will help them know, someone cares!  These hats and scarves will help them stay warmer, and healthier.  Many thanks Mary D, please keep up the good work.

AND look what a wonderful dent her donation has made in our goals for hats and scarves.  205 hats needed to reach last years donation mark.  AND167 hats to meet last years mark.  Will we make it?  28 days left to the end of the year.  Let's see how close we can get.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
