Knitted Hats from California help Cold Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Dee Ann H, our newest pair of helping hands for this thoughtful donation of warm knitted hats.  I LOVE the colors, so perfect for our men folk.  The hats are nice and large which is also a plus.  The brims can be worn up or down which also aids in additional warm AND can help in sizing as well.

We're so happy to have you join us, Dee Ann, and hope to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.

Please keep up the good work.

Folks this is our last donation for the year 2016, so please  pop back in, as I'll be posting some stats before we move into the New Year, 2017.

**For anyone new to the blog, the counting below maybe confusing.  When 2016 began, we started with the number of items donated the previous year and are counting down in hopes of hitting and surpasses the number of items donated last year.**

2016 DONATIONS:
Hats:   +38 +8=46(Look we've past last years mark)
Scarves:  +174 (We've past last years mark)
Mittens/Gloves/Wrist Warmers: 15
Slippers:   14 (getting close to last years number)
Rain Poncho's:   +106 (We past last years mark)
Cotton Washcloths:  230 -12 =218
Afghans:  1 (wow folks, we're almost even with last year, so let's see how far beyond it we can go)
Socks:   66
Cowls/Hoody Combo's, headbands:  +2  YIPPEE, we've past last years mark!
Shawls and shrugs, ponchos, sweaters & vests etc +2
Misc: items like personal care, headbands etc and things don't fit into above categories aren't counted

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
